A former Vice President at Microsoft and two-time Amazon bestselling author, Eric brings over two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of technology, strategy, and capital allocation.
During his tenure at Microsoft, Eric consistently ranked in the top percentile of leadership performance, and was recognized for exceeding revenue targets while leading teams at the forefront of AI and cloud technologies. His work is centered on empowering individual and business transformation.
Today, Eric leads HoldStrat’s investment philosophy — pursuing disciplined, cautiously optimistic opportunities aligned with the firm’s risk profile and operational expertise. Beyond capital deployment, HoldStrat focuses on value creation across industries where technology enablement, operational improvement, personal development, and scalable potential can create a competitive edge.
Eric is equally committed to principled leadership. Eric is a big believer in ongoing personal development. In addition to his original college degrees in business management and theology, he has subsequently completed Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation and advanced studies in emerging digital growth strategy through the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
